Dr. Pierre Le Pabic gave a talk at the Gordon Research Conference for Craniofacial Morphogenesis and Tissue Regeneration in Ventura, CA on March 15 entitled “Developmental basis of head shape evolution in East African rift lake cichlids”.
Research article by Julian Sosnik, Likun Zheng, Christopher Rackauckas, Michelle Digman, Enrico Gratton, Qing Nie and Thomas F Schilling accepted for publication on March 11 in the open access journal eLife entitled “Noise modulation in retinoic acid signaling sharpens segmental boundaries of gene expression in the embryonic zebrafish hindbrain”
A review/methods article co-authored by Drs. Schilling, Sosnik and Nie was accepted as a chapter for Methods in Cell Biology entitled “Visualization of retinoic acid morphogen gradients”.
Dr. Schilling was named the first Francisco Y. Ayala endowed chair in Developmental and Cell Biology on March 3 at the Bio Sci faculty retreat.
